Championship decider weekend

After the Las Vegas Grand Prix and the disqualification of both Mclaren cars, Max Verstappen’s odds to win the championship have never been so high. He now has the same amount of points as Oscar Piastri (366 points) and they are both 24 points behind championship leader, Lando Norris.

The chances of Max Verstappen or Oscar Piastri to win the championship, realistically, aren't high. However this Qatar round will offer a sprint race, which gives a lot more chances for the two drivers occupying the second position in the standings to win the championship.

Even though Verstappen and Piastri now have much more chances to win the championship, Lando Norris could still end it all this weekend by scoring two points more than both of his opponents.

Does Max Verstappen have what it takes to take it all for the 5th time in his career?

Oscar Piastri’s downfall

No one really knows what happened to the Australian driver. Why did we watch this sudden drop of performance? Did the Mclaren driver get too much pressure?

Many theories have been told, also including that Mclaren was sabotaging one of his drivers, lots of rumours are going around the paddock at the moment.

Will Oscar Piastri end them all or feed them? Only the future will tell.

Lando Norris slowly but surely getting his first title?

Quickly at the beginning of the season the British drivers got dominated by his teammate in the championship. However Lando Norris did not give up, he continued to fight, and somehow with his determination he got back on top of the standings not long ago. As his teammate no one knows what happened that caused this sudden change in his spirit, but this might have just given him his first world title.

Max Verstappen against the world?

After what was nonetheless a really complicated first half of the season for Max Verstappen, he got back up with the help of his team. He literally destroyed both Mclaren in a lot of races when their car is supposed to be the best of the grid and he got back in the race for the championship. Without forgetting, the dutchman is now a father of a little girl.

Max Verstappen might actually be one of the best drivers of his generation.
